Borrow & Renew Items

A PINES library card must be presented to check out materials and to access library computers.

Borrowing limits

  • Patrons may borrow up to 50 items at one time.
  • Each item is checked out for an intial two week period.

    • Loan Periods, Renewals & Returns

  • After two weeks all materials without holds on them may be renewed up to two times.
  • Items can be renewed through your PINES account or by calling Circulation at 229-420-3200.
  • Materials may be returned to any PINES location.

    • Fines

  • Books, audios, videos and dvds accrue fines of .10/day.
  • Interlibrary loan materials accrue fines of .50/day.

    • Patron's cards will be blocked to addition borrowing if:

  • More than 10 items are overdue OR
  • Fines total more than $10.00
