Library Board of Trustees
The Dougherty County Public Library System is governed by the Library Board of Trustees. All trustees are appointed by the Dougherty County Board of Commissioners. With the exception of meeting on the 3rd Tuesday in January because of the MLK Jr. and in June due to Juneteenth Holiday, the Library Board meets on the 3rd Monday of each month (excluding July, August, and December) at 5:30 in tthe foyer of The Event Center at Northwest Library, 2507 Dawson Road.
